As a part of the Bevid family, you will:
Provide primary care to members, including histories, exams, lab tests, prescriptions and referrals within prescribed up to date guidelines and protocols.
Perform accurate and timely documentation of histories, subjective findings, physical exam, plans, prescriptions and follow up in Electronic Health Records System.
Complete physical assessments.
Orders, performs, and interprets routine laboratory tests.
Provides health education and counseling.
Makes referrals to other members of the health team as needed and to community resources.
Respects the dignity, confidentiality, and privacy of patients.
Obtains appropriate authorization and consents for treatments.
Assist in the development of Standards of Care for the medical department.
Review patient’s medical diagnosis, prognosis, medications, procedures, and clinical course.
Provide counseling for patients with diet, hygiene and preventative healthcare.
Engage members in participation and decision involving their healthcare.
Market and provide community education.
Essentials:

Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner training program and certification by the State Board of Registered Nursing.
A current license to practice nursing in the state of South Carolina.
Current CPR Certificate.
Previous experience in healthcare setting is preferred.

As a part of the Bevid family, you will:
Add new information to patient records, and create new records as necessary. Report missing paperwork to the correct personnel in a timely manner
Enter pertinent patient information into the appropriate computer data base(s) including new patient note and updated medication list
Assist physician and/or extender in patient rooms
Ensure patients are in the room, interview patients, measure vital signs including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document in the patient’s electronic chart
Give instructions to patients as instructed by physician or extender
Ensure all related reports, labs and information are readily available for review prior to appointment via EHR
Keep car stock of needed medical supplies, instruments, and forms used routinely
Forward orders and medication requests to the office triage nurse for processing
Ensure all paperwork including new patient paperwork is completed and signed appropriately and returned to the designated office personnel
Answer questions about records and files in order to assist patients and/or families as well as facility staff
Report scheduling changes and missed visits to the scheduler so that calendar can be updated
Organize the physician and extender to keep consistent flow so that patient visits are efficient
Collaborate with Director of Nursing or other designated facility personnel to ensure that needs are being met and good relationships are formed
Must exercise utmost diplomacy and tact to provide excellent customer service for patients; practices confidentiality and privacy protocols in accordance to Company policies and HIPAA requirements
Perform all other duties as assigned

Associate’s degree in a medical field
Pass a minimum of one exam from the National Commission for Certifying Agencies
2+ years of working in the healthcare field
Strong verbal and written skills
